President Droupadi Murmu Highlights Unity in Diversity
President Droupadi Murmu extended heartfelt greetings to citizens on the joyous occasion of Holi.
In her message, the President described Holi as a festival of joy and celebration that conveys the message of social harmony. She said the festival spreads love and hope across society and strengthens the spirit of unity and cohesion. Calling Holi a symbol of India’s unity in diversity, she urged people to celebrate the occasion with happiness and togetherness.

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan also conveyed his greetings to the nation. In a social media message, he described Holi as a celebration of the triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring symbolising renewal, hope and the vibrant spirit of India’s civilisation.
He noted that the festival, deeply rooted in the country’s rich traditions, reflects brotherhood, mutual respect and shared joy. The Vice President expressed hope that the colours of Holi bring happiness and renewed energy to every heart and encouraged citizens to spread kindness while working towards building a peaceful and inclusive Viksit Bharat.

He said the festival reflects India’s rich culture, traditions and spirit of brotherhood. Highlighting the deeper meaning of Holi, Mr. Birla stated that the colours of love, faith and positivity can dispel darkness and overcome life’s challenges. He added that applying colours to one another breaks barriers of discrimination and sends a strong message of equality and unity the nation’s greatest strength.
He urged citizens to share the joy of the festival with those who are alone or in need and to pledge to fill society with the colours of love, peace and harmony.
